AROKStraylight

Talk where only the two of you can listen.

Messages are end-to-end encrypted with post-quantum keys. No phone number, no email: your contacts know you by the name you pick here.

This is the web version. It's handy, but your browser loads its code fresh on every visit, so it's only as safe as the site serving it. For anything sensitive, use the desktop app.

Step 2 of 2

Write down your recovery key.

With this key and a backup file you can restore your account on a new computer. Nobody, including AROK, can recover it for you.

Restore

Bring your account back.

Choose your backup file (it ends in .slbackup) and enter the recovery key you wrote down.

Restoring an older backup can break conversations that moved on since. If a contact's messages stop arriving, ask them to message you again.

Welcome back.
